IPPI Faculty Members Ranked Among the Top 2% Researchers Faculty Members of the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute Ranked Among the Top 2% of Researchers Worldwide

According to the latest data released by Elsevier and the Digital Science, Stanford University database in the report titled “Updated Science-Wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators, August 2025”, thirteen faculty members and one postdoctoral researcher from the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute have been recognized among the top 2% of researchers worldwide based on standardized citation metrics. This globally recognized ranking evaluates researchers using a set of citation indicators, including total citations, h-index, and other standardized measures. The presence of the Institute’s faculty members on this list reflects their outstanding scientific standing, continuous research efforts, and international impact.
The selected faculty members are: the late Dr. Mehdi Barikani, Dr. Hossein Ali Khonkdar, Dr. Mohammad M. Jalal Zohuriaan-Mehr, Dr. Mohammad Taghi Khorasani, Dr. Mohammad Ramezanzadeh Karati, Dr. Eiman Ali Bakhshi, Dr. Mohammad Ghashghaee, Dr. Mir Hamid Reza Ghoreishy, Dr. Samahe Sadjadi, Dr. Hengameh Honarkar, Dr. Shahram Mahdipour-Ataei, Dr. Ali-Akbar Yousefi, and Dr. Hamid Yeganeh. Additionally, Dr. Iman Salahshoori, a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute, is also recognized in the report.
The inclusion of these researchers among the top 2% globally not only enhances the scientific prestige of the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute but also strengthens its capacity for international collaborations, research project acquisition, and the advancement of the country’s scientific standing worldwide.
