Based on Islamic world Science Citation database (ISC), Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute achieved the third rank among engineering research institutes and fifth rank among all research institutes in the country in 2021-2022.
According to ISC, 52 research institutes were present in this ranking and the performance of these institutions has been evaluated based on 5 criteria of research, technology and innovation, internationalization, economic impact and social services, infrastructure and facilities.
