The Faculty of Polymer Science
Head of Faculty Basic researches in synthesis, modification and characterization of polymers having different applications, in industry, biopolymers and drug delivery systems with respect of the latest developments in polymer science are being performed in the Faculty of Polymer Science in IPPI. Thirty academic staffs including eighteen with Ph.D. degree and twelve with M.Sc. degree in polymer chemistry, polymer engineering and pharmaceutics are involved in research projects. Part of academic staffs activities with Ph.D. degree is to supervise Ph.D. or M.Sc. students and giving the courses in these levels. Faculty of polymer science has in its possession eleven exclusive laboratories and two workshops equipped with modern instruments in polymer synthesis, biopolymers and novel drug delivery systems.
