   Physical Properties Laboratory

Physical properties of polymers such as particle size distribution in emulsions, flammability, gas permeability, density, etc, are studied in this laboratory.

The laboratory is equipped with the following devices:

  •    Environmental Stress Cracking Apparatus
  •    Flash Point Tester
  •    Falling Dart Impact Testing Apparatus
  •    Laser Light Scattering Device (Photon Correlation Spectroscope)
  •    Gas Permeability Apparatus
  •    Flammability Tester (Critical Oxygen Index Equipment)
  •    Elemendorf's Tear Tester
  •    Density measurements
